AARP: Firms in retirement denial: No plan for baby boomer replacement
[30 August 2006 - Boston Herald] Only one in five Massachusetts companies is taking necessary steps to deal with a demographic time bomb that will see more than a million area baby boomers retire in coming years, according to a new study to be released today. Companies across the country, not just Massachusetts, should be doing much more in terms of recruitment and retention of employees as baby boomers near retirement, said the report by the AARP (formerly known as the American Association of Retired Persons).
